Adam Elsey is a 6-2 180 lb outfielder from Columbia, SC where he attends Dutch Fork High School. He has a great frame with a lot of raw strength. Fast twitch athlete, reacts quickly. Outfield arm is a plus with good carry. Great range with above average wheels. Bats righty with quick hands and surprising pop at the plate, takes aggressive swings. Had moments where he was red hot at the plate. Ball jumps hard at the plate with carry. Lets the ball get deep in the zone with his quick hands and not afraid to use the whole field from foul line to foul line. Nice raw bat speed, can definitely get the head of the bat out. Great approach to the game. Good student with a 3.2 GPA, A+ character and a hard worker. Fun player to watch. Also played football. One of the best uncommitted 2014 outfielders to follow in the midlands and state.
