Coach Nobles began coaching in 2003 at the American Legion level. Since then Nobles has coached at various schools in SC including public and private as well as coaching travel ball in the summer. He gave professional lessons in Columbia among college coaches and former major leaguers, as well as current minor league managers. He played NCAA (Presbyterian College) and NJCAA (Spartanburg Methodist College) baseball in college and also had a stint in professional baseball as a pitcher after a leg injury that cost him his career as a center fielder. As a player he was an Academic-All American in college despite battling through a string of injuries on the field. In high school he was a five year starter at Mullins High School setting many records and winning offensive MVP of the 2000 AA State Championship Team. He was also a North-South All Star, All-State, and won MVP awards three out of five years at the varsity level.
Nobles is originally from Forest Acres, SC. He finished his undergraduate degree at Clemson in Economics with a Sport Management minor. He recently finished his Masters of Arts in Teaching(MAT) with emphasis in Physical Education and Coaching from USC. He currently lives in Columbia with his wife Mindy.
